This semester started fast, and I'm trying to keep up. My project, "Gen Z Toolkit for Small Businesses," is all about helping businesses connect with young people today. Sometimes, I feel unsure about how it's going, but talking to my professors helps a lot.
I had a chat with Prof. Laurie Makela this week on Zoom. She gave me some great tips, especially about my Materials Matrix. Her advice has set me on a more straightforward path to ensure that my materials matrix aligns with the project's objectives and stands a better chance of approval. After our talk, I made some changes and showed it to Professor Culpepper. He told me to make my case study less robust. I edited out a section I feel the scope will be a little more manageable.
I also for assignment 1, I worked on picking out keywords for my project. These words will help show what my project is about and how I can represent my project visually.
All in all this week has been a whirlwind of activities, feedback, and revisions. But it's these early stages, filled with challenges and learning, that lay the foundation for a successful project. I anticipate this semester going better than last.
