11.3 [Work in Progress] Thesis 3: Major Project / Thesis Materials

This semester is proving to be very difficult. My computer crashed a few weeks ago and I lost almost everything. I have been putting everything back together the best that I can. I worked through some issues with the narrative of my thesis. Even though it's been tough, it's actually been really good to have to revisit items that I thought were done already. I was able to look through my digital media that I already created and update the look and feel to a new brand guide. The new one feels more modern and closer to gen z.

One thing I added this round was iconography. I've been really thinking through the connotation of each design element that I have used to make sure I understand the reason why I used it. I'm this will be something that it asked during the presentation. The iconography refers to the idea that Gen Z "language" is difficult to understand especially in the context for small businesses. Not understanding the language has proven to be difficult to know how to meet Gen Z where they are. This is the main reason of my thesis. How to understand them, get to know that age demographic and put out materials that would resonate with them.
