This week I continued to work on the Dezign website, as well as my thesis website.
Thesis website
For my website, I wanted to make sure to have a definite flow of information. I wanted it to feel like a story. A lot of the content isn't all the way finished. But I will have it all by next semester after my case study.
The home page I felt needed some sort of introduction to the material. I have a carousel of images to show the different steps in my process. The steps are// The Plan // The Approach // The Process // The Finals
I am slowly integrating my brand guidelines to the thesis website and the other deliverables.
Brand guidelines
I still need to update the brand guide one sheet. A few of the elements that I had previously used, namely the permanent marker sketches were removed.
DeZign Website
I also continued to work on the DeZign website. I nailed down the flow of everything and created an initial prototype. This prototype is missing a few pages, but I wanted to see what it would look like.
I designed everything in Illustrator and then imported it into Adobe XD. I've used it before so the learning curve wasn't too bad. There is something mesmerizing about linking each element to each other.

In watching this walkthrough, I need to edit the services buttons to be larger. I was having a difficult time finding clicking the bubbles even in the walkthrough.
Here is a photo of what the prototype links look like right now. I wanted the services page to be able to click between different ideas. There were 8 ideas, and needless to say there were a lot of links in that part.

These are really rough but I am taking a class this summer that will help me make these videos a lot better.

I finished more of the design for the DeZign website and I put it all in XD to finish out the prototype.
Round 2 foe the prototype included more links as well.
DeZign // A Marketing and Design Firm // intro (This video will be updated further this summer. I am taking a motion graphics and video class this summer since I needed to find an extra class to take. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to learn more about motion graphics. I know very little in After Effects so it'll be nice to be able to make better quality promo videos for DeZign.
